What to Expect in Your Consult
When you visit our Caloundra physiotherapy practice, you can expect a comprehensive consultation that focuses on understanding your pain and medical history. As a highly trained and internationally regarded professional in the field, our head Physiotherapist and Strength and Conditioning coach Geoff Ford will take a holistic approach to your treatment and always strives to not only provide pain relief, but work with you to address the factors that are leading to your pain and ensure you are confident with your health and fitness without having to rely on others to keep giving you treatments into the future.

As primary care providers, you don't need a doctor’s referral to see a physiotherapist. We welcome anyone seeking to improve their well-being and move well. If you have private health insurance, we have a HICAPS terminal that allows for on-the-spot claiming from your health fund.

During your consultation, our physiotherapist Geoff will conduct a hands-on assessment to gain a comprehensive understanding of your pain and medical history. This will be followed by a physical examination to not only identify the injured tissues or areas that the pain is being experienced, but also identify what the contributing factors are that are leading to your experience of pain, rather than just addressing the symptoms.
Once the assessment is complete, physiotherapist Geoff will work with you to create a personalised plan to help you achieve your desired outcomes. This plan may include strategies to alleviate your pain and techniques to strengthen your body, reducing the likelihood of the pain returning in the future.
